If you’re like me (and let’s just hope you’re not), you may from time to time find that you’ve accumulated things that you no longer need. Of course there are times when it makes perfect sense to sell those things. At other times you may find it worthwhile to consider other options.
The purpose of this blog is to offer suggestions as to how to make effective use of things you no longer need. Eventually, I hope to cover a wide variety of products and identify some local organizations (primarily in the Greater Oklahoma City area) that could use these items. As much as possible, I will provide reliable information on these organizations including links to their websites, maps and phone numbers.
I welcome your help in trying to make the most out of what we have. Please send me any suggestions you have on this topic.
ABOUT ME
While this is really isn’t about me, I probably should provide some information. My name is Alan Hicks. I’ve lived in the Greater Oklahoma City area for most of my life. As we’ve been “downsizing” over the past four years, I thought it could be beneficial to help identify local resources for others who may be doing the same.
